Both the light and dark sides of the sacred feminine will be studied in such figures as Inanna, Isis, Sekhmet, the many manifestations of the Hindu Devi, Buddhist Bodhisattvas, the Virgin Mary and the Black Madonna. Along with goddesses and various sacred feminine archetypes, historical female mystics and saints will also be considered.
