Howard Eige is an associate professor who teaches European and American art history (contemporary and modern). Eige's painterly, idealistic, spiritual paintings explore wild nature and the vastness of the cosmos, and his paintings have been exhibited nationally. His work has been acquired by the Oakland Museum.
Eige is the consulting editor for Alcove Books, a publisher specializing in contemporary art. He is currently researching the contrasts between contemporary art and the old masters.
