Young Artist Studio
About Young Artists Studio Program (YASP)
In-depth 2012 program information and pricing will be posted at the end of February. The dates for 2012 will be as follows:
- June 18–22: One-week, all-day program (Oakland campus)
- July 30–August 10: Two-week, all-day program (San Francisco and Oakland campus)
Registration will begin March 1, 2012.
CCA's Young Artist Studio Program (YASP) is an exciting, intensive studio experience for students who want to explore the visual arts in a professional art-school setting. Eligible students have just completed the sixth, seventh, or eighth grade.
To accommodate schools ending their spring terms later in June, we have created four condensed one-week programs, June 18–22, on our Oakland campus. Two-week programs are still offered, July 30-August 10, at each CCA campus (Oakland and San Francisco).
Enrollment is limited to 16 students per class section.
