Sculpture: Breaking the Mold
Sculpture: Breaking the Mold
Rebecca Young
Oakland campus (June 13–24)
Sculpture enables artists to break free of the flat page and express ideas in three dimensions. This course allows students to experiment with alternative materials as well as new forms, concepts, and techniques, including two-part mold making, build-and-destroy projects, and large-scale inflatable sculpture.
Found objects and group activities fuel the creative process. The emphasis is on concept, design, and fun in generating new ideas.
