Woodworking Workshop

San Francisco campus (July 30–August 10)
In this workshop, participants gain hands-on experience with professional woodworking techniques.
Students begin the class with a piece of wood and finish (covered in sawdust) with a personal-sized hardwood bench. In the process, they learn mortise and tenon joining, wood carving, and the safe use of hand and power tools.
The class will explore various surface treatments, such as staining with dyes and inks, as well as traditional and nontoxic finishing techniques.
