Admitted Undergraduates

Congratulations on Your Acceptance!

As an accepted CCA student to the fall 2008 entering class, you've come to the right place to find out about the next steps. Here you'll find information regarding visiting our campuses, advising and registration, computer services, and more.

We are thrilled to be able to offer you admission to the college and look forward to welcoming you in person.

What's Next . . .

Once students receive their offer for admission and admit packet, they are often overcome with both excitement and some trepidation about the enrollment process. Let us help in setting your mind at ease.

1. Review the contents of your admit packet. Housing, billing, medical forms, and registration information is often included. For fall applicants admitted prior to February 1, a follow-up packet containing greater details will be sent.

2. Financial aid. If you have applied for aid, or met the priority deadlines for fall applicants, an aid award will follow shortly after your offer of admission. If you have questions regarding your aid award, see Financial Aid.

International students are not eligible for financial aid; for information about outside resources see Funding Your Education.

After you have reviewed your award, please return the enclosed page indicating your acceptance of the aid offer, along with any outstanding documents.

3. I-20/visa procedures (international students only). To obtain a student visa you must submit an I-20 request form (PDF) and a bank statement that documents you have access to at least $44,000 in order to meet your educational costs.

For more information about obtaining a student visa, see International Applicants.

4. Housing. If you indicated an interest in housing on your application for admission, a housing application packet will be sent to you in the first wave of housing offers. All admitted students meeting the February 1 priority deadline for fall will receive an emailed confirmation of housing on April 6. Housing application packets will be mailed once a student has returned the Intent to Enroll form and tuition deposit.

Note: You must return your materials by May 15, or within two weeks of receipt, to reserve your space for on-campus housing. For spring enrollees, housing is offered on a rolling, space-available basis.

Housing packets include an offer of housing, a questionnaire about your housing preferences, and the housing license agreement.

If you are unsure if you indicated an interest in housing on your application for admission and are interested in on-campus housing, please contact the Enrollment Services Office at 800.447.1ART.

5. Participate in an admitted student event. CCA hosts an on-campus Admitted Student Day, as well as regional receptions in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle for admitted fall undergraduate students. See the schedule in the right-hand column.

6. Confirm your attendance. The second half of your admit letter includes a tear-off for you to complete and return by May 1, or within two weeks of your admission offer, whichever is later. Please complete this brief form and include your $265 enrollment deposit ($115 for registration fees and $150 for enrollment).

Confirm your offer of housing by submitting your completed Housing Application Packet and submitting the $750 housing deposit.

7. Register. Please review the "Steps to Register" included in your admit packet, or the follow-up packet containing registration information. See Advising and Registration for more information.

8. Orientation. Sign up for an orientation. During orientation you will receive important information to assist you in becoming a student at CCA, as well as participate in the English Placement Exam.

A special orientation for international students will be announced. Attendance to this event is mandatory.
