At CCA you will join a creative community of gifted artists from around the world, living and studying in one of the most culturally diverse regions in North America.
The Bay Area is a popular, international destination surrounded by national parks, breathtaking coastlines, cosmopolitan restaurants and shopping, renowned museums, and a vibrant, internationally recognized art scene.
Known as a mecca for many artists, architects, designers, and writers, the Bay Area is a place where design, technology, and the arts coalesce, manifesting new forms of creative expression.
The temperate climate, accessible public transportation, cultural richness, and colorful neighborhoods and districts make the Bay Area a perfect location to study.
Improve your English language skills while enjoying summer in San Francisco! Many international students find they need additional language support to succeed in college. Some have to take an extra semester or two to meet their academic requirements.
By Attending the CCA Summer ESL and Art Studio program, students may move more quickly into college-level English and become better equipped to participate in studio art courses.
This program is for students who will enroll at CCA in the fall term. The emphasis is on improving English-language skills – reading, writing, and speaking—in the context of an American art college. Participants also will explore the culturally rich San Francisco Bay Area.
Registration Deadline: May 1
