The college practices rolling admissions, which is to say we will continue to receive and review applications as they complete for the upcoming term.

Students meeting priority deadlines receive priority consideration for admission, housing, and financial aid.
Application Requirements
A complete CCA undergraduate application must contain the following five components:

- Transcripts
- Two letters of recommendations
- Portfolio
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (INTL applicants only)
Fee waivers are accepted for domestic students with limited financial resources that meet the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) fee waiver guidelines. Requirements for consideration and the downloadable form are available online.
Checking Your Application Status
When you apply, an online WebAdvisor account will be created for you. WebAdvisor is a web-based tool that lets you track the progress of your application, receipt of documents, review degree audits, and view your admission decision online.
We will send a confirmation email indicating receipt of your application within 24 hours of receiving it. This email will contain additional details that explain the WebAdvisor login process.
During peak application periods, processing of mailed application materials may take several weeks to reflect accurately in WebAdvisor.
Notification of Admissions Decision
Upon receipt of all required documents, the admissions committee reviews your application and notifies you of our decision within approximately three weeks.
Students who meet the February 1 or March 1 priority deadlines for the fall semester will be notified of the admission decision by April 1.
Spring applicants who meet the October 1 priority deadline will be notified by November 1.
Notification of Transfer Credit
Admitted transfer and second-degree students will be able to view an evaluation of transfer credit using WebAdvisor following an offer of admission. This will include all academic credit and studio credit from all materials submitted in the application process.
Notification of Financial Aid
If eligible, your financial aid offer will be made following an offer of admission. We do not consider financial need in the admissions process.
First-year students who meet the priority admissions deadline for fall and have applied for financial aid will receive their notification of eligibility by April 1.
Transfer and second-degree applicants will receive eligibility notification by April 15.
Notification of Housing
A housing offer will be made after you have returned your Intent to Enroll form and tuition deposit. Housing notification will be sent beginning April 6 for the fall semester.
Submitting a Tuition Deposit
Accepted students who plan to enroll at CCA for the fall term are required to make a nonrefundable tuition deposit of $265 ($150 tuition deposit and $115 registration fee) on May 1, Candidate Reply Date*, or the date specified on your acceptance letter, whichever is later.
Spring applicants are required to submit the tuition deposit by November 15 or the date specified on your acceptance letter, whichever is later. The full amount of the deposit is credited to your first-semester tuition.
* CCA is an NACAC member in good standing and has endorsed the Statement of Principles of Good Practice.
