CCA's Master of Advanced Architectural Design (MAAD) post-professional degree offers a concentration in Digital Design Technologies that is intended for early to midcareer design professionals who are interested in extending their knowledge of digital design technologies.

The program provides students with training in contemporary topics such as parametric design, building information modeling, interactive design and robotics, advanced visualization, and digital fabrication.

Fall Term

The fall term focuses on a broad range of digital concepts and technologies with the goal to provide students with an overview of the contemporary digital design landscape, while at the same time encouraging students to develop a specific research trajectory within the field.

Spring Term

The spring term focuses on the development of either a thesis project or advanced studio exploring digital design concepts and techniques that often involve the integration of digital fabrication and prototyping, taking advantage of CCA’s digital fabrication and rapid prototyping facilities.
