Collections of Jane Miller's poetry include Wherever You Lay Your Head (Copper Canyon Press, 1999), Memory at These Speeds (Copper Canyon Press, 1996), and, most recently, A Palace of Pearls (Copper Canyon Press, 2005). A volume of her essays on poetry, culture, and travel, Working Time, was published by the University of Michigan Press in 1992. She is a recipient of Guggenheim and National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, and she won the National Poetry Series open competition in 1982. She has taught at Goddard College, the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, and the University of Arizona at Tucson.
