Painting Lecture Series
Monday, December 3, 2007, 7:30 pm
Room GC5, San Francisco Campus
Iva Gueroguieva creates large-scale acrylic paintings that skirt the abstract and the realist in equal measure.
The large swirling forms convey as sense of agitation, energy, and foreboding, while the small-scale drawing elements move across the surface, highlighting and illuminating as they curl and jolt across the open areas of the painting.
Iva Gueorguieva has exhibited at Heriard Cimino Gallery, New Orleans, Alona Kagan Gallery, New York, Massimo Audiello Gallery, New York, Ambrosino Gallery, Miami, and recently attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
