SPECIAL LECTURE!
In conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)

Mark Dziewulski's designs combine technological innovation with poetic and sculptural forms to create a strong sense of place in the public realm. His work reflects an individual and distinctive design sensibility. Each new commission receives a fresh approach based on its contextual and programmatic influences.

Dziewulski's firm has offices in San Francisco and London and carries out commercial and residential projects in the United States, Europe, and Asia. It has received numerous design awards, including three Excellence in Design awards from the American Institute of Architects for Significant Works of Architecture; for two years in a row it has received the International Design and Development Award and the Pacific Coast Builders Design Award.

Dziewulski's work has been published in more than 90 books and magazines in 16 countries, including the Times in London and several articles in the New York Times. He recently collaborated with Mikhail Baryshnikov on a design for a new museum for the performing arts in San Francisco.

Dziewulski received bachelor of architecture and master of art degrees from Cambridge University, and a master of architecture degree from Princeton University (on a Fulbright Scholarship).

Generous support for CCA public programs in San Francisco has been provided by Grants for the Arts / San Francisco Hotel Tax Fund. The Architecture Lecture Series is funded by McCall Design Group; Pfau Long Architecture; Jensen Architects; ARCH Drafting and Art Supplies; GCI Inc.; Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, Inc.; Perkins+Will; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP; and SRG Partnership.
