PLAySPACE, in partnership with the Graduate Student Alliance (GSA), will present a “Block Party” to celebrate the CCA community featuring refreshments, food, music, games, performances, and guided tours of the exhibition Wherehoused? led by PLAySPACE co-directors Amanda Mayo and Roula Seikaly. The artists from the exhibition will be present and ready to be challenged to a three-legged race.
PLAySPACE, The Paulette Long and Shepard Pollack Art Community Experiment, is a graduate student-run exhibition program. It provides the resources for student curators to conceptualize and present exhibition programming that is especially appropriate for, and oriented towards, the academic community.
Graduate Student Alliance (GSA) provides an easily accessible and organized forum where graduate students pitch, plan, and produce their ideas. GSA sponsors initiatives that strengthen community among graduate departments, and promotes constructive dialogue between students, and the administration and faculty.
