Career Services and Academic Affairs enthusiastically present the 2012 Art and Design at Work Professional Development Series. Art and Design at Work is an information-packed series of workshops focused on presenting key tips on how to succeed in the creative industry as an artist, designer, writer, or entrepreneur.
At this workshop, “Proposal Writing Basics for Individuals in the Arts,” learn the key components of a proposal to a foundation, including insight on the grant-seeking process, what to include and what is expected in a standard proposal, tips to strengthen your proposal and effectively communicate with your funders, and proposal examples.
Scott Ullman of the Foundation Center will lead the event.
Additional Art and Design at Work events will take place throughout the academic year, so don't miss out on these unique professional-development opportunities!
