Works by Fine Arts Fellowship winners Francesca Costanza and Esteban Partida, who attended the New York Studio Residency Program during the 2011-12 academic year. Fellows are selected by a jury of CCA faculty and receive a $500 stipend to spend a semester in New York, in the heart of the vibrant contemporary art world in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn. Participants earn 16 units of credit while working with art and design professionals. The experience culminates in a public exhibition in New York.
For more on the New York Studio Residency Program, see hnysp.aicad.org. For more on the Fine Arts Fellowship, contact fine-arts-undergrad@cca.edu. The deadline to apply for spring 2013 is November 1. Applicants must have junior standing and a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible.
