CCA Summer Study 2013
Instructor: Linda Geary
Spend three weeks in DUMBO in your own individual AICAD studio. This three–week New York studio course delves into interdisciplinary art practices with an emphasis on contemporary dialogues around painting. Using studio visits by New York artists as a base, the class structures its own discussions and projects around questions of new and traditional perspectives in painting.
Last year's visiting artists were Katie Bell, Jeff Gibson, Rachel Hayes, Hudson, Lauren Luloff, Kate Shepard, Wendy White, and William Wurtz.
Prerequisite
Undergraduates: Completion of sophomore year and instructor approval
Graduates: Instructor approval
For graduate students, the course satisfies a gradwide elective; for undergraduates, an interdisciplinary critique or studio elective.
