iLOUNGE instant/ interim/ interactive

Wednesday, January 23, 6:30 pm
ZERO1 Garage/ 439 South of First Street, San Jose

iLOUNGE: instant/interim/interactive is a flexible community gathering-place that supports the occupation of the human body in different ways: lounging, standing, resting, socializing, playing, observing, and being observed. The modular architectural system was designed to enable temporary community for a minute, an hour, or an evening, and can be configured into different aggregations to support different uses. It was so popular at the Northern Spark Festival and the ZERO1 Biennial that we’ve brought it back.

From January 16 – March 23, 2013 the iLounge “playground” fills the expanded ZERO1 Garage lounge area, where a team of architects, designers, and artists will present a program of indoor interventions and activations.
