Explore the dreams and visions of your future's designers.
Students, come show off your best work if you're looking for a job, internship, or just feedback on your portfolio; this is a great opportunity to show your stuff. Afterward, meet and mingle with some of the area's brightest design professionals.
For all of you professional designers, come watch the spectacle and check out the senior exhibits. It's the perfect reason to leave work a little early and drink, dance, and mingle with your colleagues.
Also showing, just back from a great reception at the Milan furniture fair, a project designed by the students of CCA called Gino the Dog, the result of a class taught by Steven Holt and Yves Béhar with industry expert Susan Kralovec.
And if that's not enough, there will also be a very special surprise guest giving an inspirational short talk and sharing upcoming work.
Participating schools include the Academy of Art University, California College of the Arts, San Francisco State University and San Jose State University with designers from many of the bays brightest firms reviewing portfolios.
Student exhibition and portfolio review takes place from 1 to 5 p.m., followed by drinking and dancing from 5 to 10 p.m.
