William Massie is the founder of Massie Architecture, a cutting-edge design studio in New York. Massie's work inventively explores computer applications and digital information technologies as a means for redefining architectural practice and making. Unique to Massie's work is his development of new full-scale building techniques that push the envelope of digital capabilities.

Massie is the architect in residence and head of the Architecture Department at Cranbrook Academy of Art. He is the winner of the 2002 MoMA/P.S. 1 Young Architects Program competition and has lectured and exhibited widely, including at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the National Building Museum, Washington, DC; the Shanghai Biennale; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
