Jesse Reiser (with Nanako Umemoto) has practiced in New York as Reiser + Umemoto since 1986. The internationally recognized architectural firm has built projects on a wide range of scales, from furniture design to residences, commercial buildings, and landscape designs. They have been shortlisted to participate in an international competition for the redevelopment of a railway route and station in Taiwan. They also recently completed a design proposal for the New Museum of Contemporary Art, which held an invited competition for its new building in downtown Manhattan. Reiser currently teaches at Princeton University.
