One of Canada's leading artists, Liz Magor makes sculptures that engage the culture of simulation found in historical recreations, natural history dioramas, and theme parks. Trafficking in the unreliable play of appearances, her art explores the belief systems underlying our perceptions of the "real." Magor's work is included in the CCA Wattis Institute exhibition Baja to Vancouver.
