One of Japan's foremost documentarians, Tsuchimoto Noriaki has dedicated much of his career to exploring the consequences of environmental disaster, especially those associated with Minamata disease, the result of mercury dumping in southwest Japan's stunningly beautiful Shiranui Sea.
