Johanna Grawunder is a designer and architect based in Milan, Italy, and San Francisco. She was a partner at Ettore Sottsass in Milan and produced limited-edition collections of lighting and furniture for various galleries in Europe and the United States. In 2001 she opened her own studios in Milan and San Francisco and is currently collaborating with a select group of companies, including Flos, Boffi, Salviati, and Mikasa. Recent commissions include a permanent outdoor lighting installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Siracusa, Sicily.
