Michael Speaks is head of the Metropolitan Research and Design Postgraduate Degree (MR+D) at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He was series editor for "Writing Architecture" (MIT Press) and is a contributing editor for Architectural Record. Speaks has published and lectured internationally on art, architecture, urban design, and scenario planning.
