Michel Bohbot

Fantasy, science fiction, sports, food, corporate–Oakland-based illustrator Michel Bohbot does it all, working in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, pastels, and digital media. His versatility allows him to use the technique that best suits each visual challenge. With this mastery, Michel has been able to portray worlds of both vivid fantasy and rich reality. He has illustrated video games, books, magazines, CDs and more for clients as diverse as LucasArts, Vivendi/Universal, Warner Books, Penguin, Intel, Michael Crichton, the San Francisco Giants, the San Jose Sharks, and the United Nations. He has been a teacher at the Academy of Art University, as well as president of the San Francisco Society of Illustrators. He has been featured several times in the annual Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art. He has just completed an illustrated novel titled Zintara and is working on a sequel.
