Media Arts Program annual juried film and video screening

Nahl Hall, Oakland campus
Every spring, the Media Arts Program invites jurors from outside the school to select some of the finest representations of student film and video work to be presented in a one-night audiovisual extravaganza. Works in narrative, experimental, animation, and documentary formats are represented. The call for entries was open to all current BFA and MFA candidates, regardless of discipline or concentration.
This year's panel of jurors includes Joel S. Bachar, founder and curator of Microcinema International; Laura Deutch, curatorial outreach coordinator of the Pacific Film Archive; and Laura Plotkin, curator and director of Lola Films.
A catered reception will be held during intermission.
