Christine Hume's 2004 book, Alaskaphrenia (New Issues), received a Book of the Year Award from Small Press Traffic. Hume's earlier book, Musca Domestica (Beacon Press, 2000), won the Barnard New Women Poets Prize. Shanxing Wang's first collection, Mad Science in Imperial City, is just out from Futurepoem.
