Diatric Puds and the Blobettes, Badgerlore, and Core of the Coal Man

This live musical performance will feature diverse acts that will challenge and enlighten the senses.

Jorge Boeringer's solo project Core of the Coal Man will start the show with viola and sound experiments. Badgerlore features Rob Fisk (7 Year Rabbit Cycle, ex-Deerhoof) and Ben Chasney (Six Organs of Admittance) creating soundtracks for nest building and other sonic investigations of the natural world. Diatric Puds and the Blobettes will finish the evening with their brand of mutant doo-wop and mad scientist rock concoctions. Special guest DJ Porest (aka Mark Gergis) will play dirt bomb audio downers to keep things lively between sets.

Echo de Pensees Sound Series is an ongoing series of sound performances and installations at California College of the Arts. The series strives to offer a venue for experimental and contemporary musicians and sound artists. Contact mfaustini@cca.edu for more information.
