Henry Urbach was named the Helen Hilton Raiser Curator of Architecture and Design at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2006. His exhibitions thus far have included California College of the Arts at 100: Innovation by Design and Olafur Eliasson: Your tempo. Prior to joining SFMOMA, Urbach directed the Henry Urbach Architecture gallery in New York. He has taught at Parsons School of Design and other architecture schools in the New York area, and he has written about art and architecture for the New York Times, ANY, Assemblage, and Artforum, among other publications.
