R7 Booster: The Sputnik Studio Show

Work from the spring and fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters of Sputnik, CCA's award-winning undergraduate graphic design studio. The reception will include a preview of PRINT magazine's feature story on Sputnik, slated for the March/April 2008 issue.

The Sputnik program was established in 1995 to create CCA's print materials. Today, under the direction of staff and faculty advisors, CCA graphic design students produce 80 to 100 print and web projects for the college each year.

*What is R7 Booster? R7 Boosters were the engines that propelled the Sputnik rocket into space and were powered by motors that ran on LOX (not the kind you have on your bagel but liquid oxygen) plus kerosene.
