"The Commons"

The Colloquium will focus on how the concept of "the Commons" integrates our thoughts and actions, informing and directing creative practice. This will be a lively dialogue with members of the CCA community.

Participants:

• Mark Takiguchi, Associate Dean of UG Studies, CCA, moderator

• Chris Desser, a fellow of the Tomales Bay Institute. Chris will provide a brief introduction to the topic.

Presenters:

• Sasha Duerr, CCA Textiles Faculty, Founder and Director of the Permacouture Institute

• Civil Twilight Collective, an interdisciplinary design collective committed to brilliant simplicity. The members are Kate Lydon, an architect and graphic designer; Christina Seely, an artist and current faculty member at CCA; and Anton Willis, an architect based in San Francisco.
