Solar Decathlon: It's Down to the Wire!

It's cold and rainy in Washington DC today, but the heat is definitely on!

The winner of the Solar Decathlon will be named tomorrow (Friday) at 8 am EST. It's turned into a real nailbiter with only a few points separating the top four teams. Team California is currently in second place, but anything could happen with tomorrow's announcement of the engineering contest (100 points) and the net metering contest (150 points).

The Today Show will be on hand tomorrow to tape a segment on smart homes that will run the second week of November. We will keep you posted on air date and time.
