A teacher of metal arts and design at CCA from 1959 to 1999, Marty's rapport with his students, as well as his teaching methods, influenced many during his 40 years at the College. This exhibit showcases the designs created by Marty from 1960 to 1995. It was created by the CCA Alumni Council Archive Committee and is on view through October 9, 2009. Please join us at the Martinez home of Patricia Vader (MFA Sculpture 2001) for a special East Bay alumni gathering. View Patricia's outdoor sculptures, enjoy art and performances by alumni, or bring something of your own to exhibit or perform. The event is a potluck so please come with a dish or drinks to share and bring your family and friends, too. Are you about to trash something that Patricia could use for her artworks, such as bicycle wheels or other treasures? Consider bringing it to the party instead to be immortalized in a sculpture.
When: Saturday, July 25 from 1-4 p.m.
