Tabitha Taraya observes that the Port of San Francisco has been in decline since World War II, and although it has been getting by financially, it is unclear what its relationship will ultimately be with the city of San Francisco -- how their two identities will fit together. For her project she created a kit for making one's own plans for the port within this context of flux. "The kit is not meant for practical utility, but for grounding a transitioning place at variance with its environment and time."
