Eva O'Leary was interested in exploring the structures of power, wealth, and masculinity that alienate the Financial District from other areas of the city, and in the sense of disconnection she feels when she herself is there. For her project she collected fragments, both found objects and pictures, to explore the human presences that she views as mostly missing from its environment.
