Anna Maciel undertook a mapping project that would translate the hidden essence of the Financial District, which she regards as a generally male-dominated arena. She turned data she collected personally into representations made with watercolor and marker over hand-etched acrylic surfaces. Her poetic color scheme suggests new opportunities of perception.
