When students meet with an advisor, they should come to the appointment with a copy of their degree audit and transcripts, if appropriate.
Advisors hold drop-in hours during the first two weeks of the semester. During this period the advising schedule is posted outside of the advising and student records offices on both campuses.
If you need to add classes to your schedule, first obtain all instructor signatures, then have your advisor sign off on the changes before turning the add/drop form into Student Records.
See Add/Drop/Withdrawal for more information.
After the add/drop period and before priority registration, advisors hold meetings by appointment only. This is the time to meet with an advisor about academic planning, course scheduling, waiving classes, transfer credit, internships, independent study, study abroad, and graduation, along with referrals and information about other college resources.
To make an appointment with your faculty advisor directly, please visit the Advising Schedule.
All undergraduates are assigned an appointment to meet with their advisor to register for the next semester.
During the priority registration period, regular advising appointments are suspended to accommodate the additional hours needed for registration. Regular advisor hours resume after.
See Registration for more information.
