Artist residencies exist for artists of all disciplines and are located across the United States and throughout the world. They offer supportive and enriching environments where artists can work together, providing creative stimulation and fellowship for one another.

Artist residencies are designed for emerging and well-established artists and writers and not necessarily students. However, keep residencies in mind for the future. Strengthen your portfolio and plan to apply for residencies after you graduate or during summer breaks. Talk with a Career Development coach or a faculty advisor for additional information on applying to artist residencies.
