The Commencement Planning Committee and the Student Affairs Office provide information to all graduating students. Faculty should encourage students to meet the necessary deadlines to participate in commencement.
Form Deadlines
Step 1: Participation and Gown Order Form
Faculty participating in the commencement ceremony must order their gown online by April 8th.
Step 2: Nominate a Student Speaker
Faculty should nominate a graduate and undergraduate student to speak at the commencement ceremony.

Step 3: Nominate an Honorary Doctorate Recipient
Faculty, students, alumni, and the Board of Trustees nominate members of the artistic or civic communities to receive honorary doctorates of fine arts at the commencement ceremony.

Step 4: Collect Your Gown (May 15 & 16)
All commencement apparel must be collected from the campus you indicated on the online faculty ordering form. For the exact pick-up location, please email rkuszel@cca.edu.
Apparel is loaned. The traditional black midcalf-length gown and master's hoods must be returned.
Participants in the ceremony should return their tams, gowns, and hoods immediately following the ceremony.
Commencement
No commencement ceremony rehearsal is planned. Faculty members should plan to line up promptly at 1 p.m. at the Concourse Exhibition Center.
