Honorary Doctorate Nomination form

Honorary Doctorates of Fine Arts are members of the artistic or civic communities who have been nominated by faculty, students, alumni, and the Board of Trustees to receive an Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts at the following commencement ceremony.

This honor is bestowed to either a preeminent artist exhibiting outstanding artistic achievement and eminence in one or more of the art fields or a community leader that has made significant leadership contributions through civic support of the arts.

• Use the form below to nominate up to three candidates per graduating student.

• List three accomplishments and describe the importance each has had in the given field of study.

• Describe how the work is relevant to the field of study as well as significant to the college.
