
Creative Achievement Awards: This merit scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors applying for fall admission who have completed their admissions application by February 1. Awards are based on a student's academic achievement and creative ability (as demonstrated by their portfolio). In 2008–09, the college will award more than a million dollars to freshmen entering in fall 2008. The awards, which range up to $18,000, may be renewed for four years of full-time enrollment if the recipient maintains good academic standing. Faculty Honors Awards: This merit scholarship competition is open to all direct college transfer students applying for fall admission who have completed their admissions application by February 1. Awards are based on a student's academic achievement and creative ability (as demonstrated by their portfolio). In 2008–09, the college will award more than $375,000 to transfer students entering in fall 2008. Diversity Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to qualified high school and transfer students entering in the fall semester who demonstrate financial need and bring diverse experiences, ideas, and creative work to the CCA community. The scholarships, in combination with other CCA scholarships, federal and state grants, can cover up to $27,900 for the 2008–09 academic year. CCA Scholastic Awards: CCA provides $2,000 merit scholarship awards to national recipients of the Portfolio Categories of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards who plan to attend CCA in the fall. The CCA Scholastic Award is renewable and may be awarded in conjunction with other CCA merit scholarships.
All-College Honors: Merit prizes awarded based on a juried portfolio review. Enrolled undergraduate students are eligible to submit portfolios for this one-year prize. Named and Emeritus Scholarships: Merit and need-based scholarships awarded to undergraduate students based on scholarship-specific eligibility criteria. CCA Scholarships: Awarded to students with demonstrated financial need based on their academic achievement. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens and be enrolled full time. Students in their graduating semester may request a prorated award for less than full-time enrollment.
Trustees' Scholarship and President's Scholarship: Awarded to continuing students with demonstrated financial need and at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens and be enrolled full time. Students in their graduating semester may request a prorated award for less than full-time enrollment.
CCA Graduate Merit Scholarships: The graduate admissions committee selects outstanding students for the prestigious graduate merit scholarships. These renewable scholarships, which range up to full tuition, are open to all prospective graduate students. Recipients must be enrolled full time.
