In addition, the Public Safety Office offers an escort service in the evening hours and will escort students within an established radius of the residential community and both campuses. Public Safety officers are available to escort residents to and from nearby public transportation such as the bus stop or the nearest BART station.

Community Activities

The Residential Life staff works hard to make the residence halls a vibrant and exciting place to reside. As part of their duties, the resident advisors plan community activities throughout the year. These activities include social events such as dances, community dinners, and excursions to local points of interest.

We also offer residents educational workshops that support academic success, raise awareness around issues such as health and wellness and diversity issues, and teach important life skills for independent living.

The Residential Council in each community provides opportunities for residents to help shape the community they live in and sponsor additional activities within the residence halls.
