While college housing is located on or near the Oakland campus, students take courses on both the Oakland and San Francisco campuses.
Both campuses are readily accessible to students via a college-provided shuttle. The CCA shuttle runs several times a day, Monday through Friday, from Webster Hall to the Oakland campus, on to the San Francisco campus, and then back again. See Campus Shuttle for the current schedule.
Both campuses are also located on major bus lines. In addition, the Oakland campus is seven blocks from the Rockridge station of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system; Webster Hall is two blocks from the 12th Street BART station; and the San Francisco campus is a five-minute bus ride from the 16th Street/Mission or Civic Center BART stations.
Because public transportation and shuttle service are available and parking is extremely limited, residential students are not permitted to bring vehicles to the college. Students are required to sign an agreement to this effect and will be subject to strict disciplinary procedures if a vehicle belonging to them is found on or near campus.
