Hybrid Lab Resources
Why a Hybrid Lab?
All around the college, in closets and basements, outposts of technology practice have been emerging. Outside CCA a growing maker movement of interactive technologies in art and design exists. These technologies are becoming more powerful and more accessible for the nontechnology-trained artist.
Enabling the hacker mentality, this is a place where sparks become concepts and concepts become prototypes as quickly as possible. Interactive technology is emerging as a creative material in every division at the college -- at both the undergraduate and graduate levels:
Architecture: Contemporary structures
Humanities & Sciences: Science and math curricula
San Francisco Studios
CCA’s San Francisco studios are a collection of shared resources that support all SF-based departments. Access is available to all current students and faculty upon attending the individual facility's policy and safety orientations.
