BFA Graphic Design, 2012
Today Allati El Henson has an impressive career as a graphic designer for Words Pictures Ideas, a company that partners with change agents -- visionaries planning tomorrow's infrastructure -- to provide integrated marketing solutions.
CCA taught me the necessary skills to perform in the working world as well as giving me the confidence to speak articulately about my work and thinking behind it.
Allati rebranded Café Claude, a modern-day evocation of vintage Paris in the heart of San Francisco.
She also worked directly with the SF AIDS Foundation, a nationally recognized organization for its public policy efforts, and its programs for prevention, diagnosis, care, and treatment related to HIV and AIDS. Allati was challenged with conceptualizing, illustrating, designing, and generating content for taglines for the SF Aids 2014:PrEP Facts expansion campaign.
She redesigned all the wayfinding signage for San Francisco's most-celebrated tourist destination, Fisherman's Wharf.
Allati served as brand steward and lead print designer for The Bay Lights, the world-renowned art project of Leo Villareal. Villareal is internationally recognized for his light sculptures and site-specific architectural works.
