Alda Çapi is founder and principal of AÇA, an architecture and design office based in San Francisco, California.

Alda is an Albanian-American architect, artist, and educator. Her work comprises of a wide range of cultural, educational, commercial, and residential projects. Alda received her Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where her thesis was nominated for the James Templeton Kelley Thesis Prize. She received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture degree from Lawrence Technological University, Summa Cum Laude, and was honored with the Edward Donley Distinguished Graduate Award as the top female graduate of the University. Her professional work has been published and exhibited on various platforms, including winning first prize in the international competition MOBILIciTY. Alda was honored in 2012 with the Albanian Excellence Award. 

Alda is an Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts, where she teaches in the Architecture and the Interior Design Departments. Alda has also taught at the University of California Berkeley, and as a Teaching and Research Assistant at Lawrence Technological University and at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
