Anthony Wong was born in Hong Kong. He moved to the USA during the 80s and was "raised" by all the great films in that period. Upon finishing his Computer Science Degree at University of California at Irvine, Anthony enrolled in Cal Arts to fullfill his dream as a film maker. Meeting his super talented classmates and working in such a creative environment proved to be a life changing event. He finally found out where he belonged. One of his short films, "Zoom", won the 1992 Houston Worldfest Bronze Award.
For nine years, he worked for Disney feature animation as a character animator (Hunchback, Mulan, Hercules, Fantasia 2000, Tarzan, Emperors New Groove, Treasure Planet, and Home on the Range), and has been animating at Pixar since 2004. He jumps up and down everyday because he makes cartoons.
Anthony was the Animation Director for the 2013 Czech Republic short film Wildlife Crossing. His personal short film is in preproduction stage in China, and he also has a children's book in development.
Anthony lives in Orinda with his dear wife Ellen and daughter Emma.
