Nathan is a LEED Accredited Professional and Building Energy Modeling Professional with Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Architecture degrees. He pursues interests in the intersection between technology and design as an associate at Loisos + Ubbelohde, a firm that specializes in energy efficiency, lighting, and high-performance buildings. During his six years at the firm, he has developed expertise in thermal comfort and energy analysis, sensor network deployment, field assessment of existing building performance, and simulation calibration. Nathan's passion for data visualization as a tool to reveal patterns and develop deeper understanding is a connective thread that runs through most of his projects, from building performance dashboard design to building performance assessment.
