Rafi Ajl is a full time jack of all trades. Rafi has a multi-faceted background in the liberal arts, literature, and philosophy, moving through through landscape architecture, and landing in being both the builder / owner of of Raphael Cycles, and current graduate student in CCA's MFA in Design program.
Rafi is based out of San Francisco, California, and is currently engaged in thinking about bicycles, post-apocalyptic bicycle and mobility design, and technology, among others. He graduated Hampshire College with a Bachelor of the Arts in 2005, has some coursework towards a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design, and is a MFA candidate at CCA, for Spring 2015.
Rafi has taught summer bicycle framebuilding courses and Investigative Studios relating to bicycle fabrication and design at CCA since 2012.
