Tim Belonax has been teaching in CCA’s undergraduate graphic design program since 2012. He has taught foundational design courses at the GD1, GD2, and GD3 level. 
Tim was the Graphic Design Lead at Airbnb in San Francisco, where he lead internal and external projects. Previously, he was on Facebook's Communication Design team and helped establish the Facebook Analog Research Lab, a design and print studio inside Facebook HQ, where he was the principal designer. His work ranges in form and clientele, striving to challenge himself, his audience, and his design partners. He holds awards from the Type Director's Club, Art Director's Club, AIGA, Print Magazine, Graphis and more. His work has been exhibited in the US and abroad. 
He is also a board member for the San Francisco Center for the Book and was previously the Social Impact co-chair for AIGA San Francisco. He studied at CalArts and holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. His bookshelves are organized by color.
